absolutely charming
As a tongue in the cheek comedic romance, "Romantics Anonymous" is a gem. Improbable in real life, this scenario is totally believable as two nervous lovers enjoy sweet treats with cold feet.
I thought this movie was adorable. Chocolate, romance, French, cute actress, did I mention chocolate (?) -- a good summer movie for feeling wonderful.
An adorable, quirky little film - if, perhaps, just a bit too predictable in plot. I love how the French can take human romantic ackwardness & turn it into an an art form! Two painfully shy introverts end up working together at a struggling chocolatier, and while stumbling through a blossoming romance, find the key to reviving the company. A lesser "Amelie" like experience.
A little fun and romantic tale of two social phobics who fell for each other, one a chocolate shop owner and the other a most talented chocolate creator.
Love this EPIC chick flick. Don't let the subtitles scare you!
This charming French film is about a romance between two extremely shy people. Angelique is a chocolatier. She goes to work for a man, Jean-Ren, who owns a candy company on the verge of bankruptcy. Both struggle to hide their fears. A gentle romantic comedy - those who liked "Amelie" would probably enjoy this as well.
Charming, witty and completely brilliant. What a refreshing Romantic Comedy. My cheeks hurt from grinning :) Sigh.
I had not previously known about this film until I noted it on the library's website. This is a very sweet comedy! Very fun!
