Annotation:Rosie and Skate may only be one year different in age, but how they deal with life when their drunken father ends up in jail couldn't be more different. While Rosie looks for help in weekly support groups, Skate who calls her father "Old Crow", deals with the issue by moving out. Rosie, 15, and Skate, 16, take turns narrating their journey through the trials and tragedies of mothering a parent with the disease of alcoholism.
