An interesting counting book with eery pencil line drawings to illustrate the object being counted. Given the realism in the drawings, this book is more of a late primary/early junior book, rather than a pre-school/early primary book. This might be fun for the special education teacher to use with older children.

Although this is a counting book, this may be one you don''t want to share with your younger children. The scratchboard technique of the illustrations are in black and white and have small details of orange or yellow, making them most effective for adults. The bootiful rhyme adds to the suspenseful story for Halloween sharing.
