I loved this show as a kid! The audiobook was much better to get into, she reads it. A little "historical" rather then a tell all, but still classy and full of sparkle.

Barbara Eden puts down her second (of three) husband by saying he was nothing but a name-dropper. That's really ironic because that is my exact criticism of Barbara Eden. Not a page (or hardly a paragraph) goes by without her dropping a famous name. Also, she is quick to criticize Larry Hagman by saying he is really difficult to work with -- but she keeps working with him. This is a really light-weight book. Go ahead and read it if you watched "I Dream of Jeanie." It's not an awful book, but nobody will confuse it with great literature! I rate this a C plus. On the positive side, it will not take you long to read this book

Actually there's more to Barbara Eden than "Jeannie" which this books proves.

I could have used less of the phrase "Jeannie blink" to show movement into the past or the future.

This is not a 'kiss & tell' book or an in-depth biography. Personaly, I found she didn't have much to say!... a small part on Larry Hagman, references to all the men who fancied her and a small and somewhat touching chapter on the untimely death of her only child.
