SummaryAdd a Summary
Alan Dingwall, a boy 13 years of age, have to deal with problems every day in his life (Bullies, a girl he likes, etc.). He was found in the hospital, because he somehow fell into the river and was knocked unconscious. He tries to piece everything together from the story of the tiny alien who lives in his nose, Norbert, and how he helped dealing with Alan's problems through hilarious ways. He tells the readers of the story from the very beginning, since he forgot how he fell into the river himself. Norbert had helped Alan to deal with bullies and he got everyone's attention, including Miranda's (the girl he has a crush on). One of the bullies, Prudence, wanted revenge for the insults thrown by Norbert (she thinks it was Alan). She saw Alan fall into the river by tripping over a collie dog, and she thought Alan got what he deserved but she heard a voice saying she should help him. When Alan recovers from the hospital, the bullies' group had basically been separated and Prudence told Alan they won't mess with him anymore. When Norbert thought it was time, he had left Alan and returned to Jupiter.
