This is a good book for providing ideas on different approaches on watercolor for beginners and professional alike. I love how there is a small description of the technique and then a step-by-step example beside it.

This book provides a general ideas for many topics in watercolor paintings. With a large number of subjects to cover within 187 pages, definitely it can only brush the surface of these areas.
