This is one OLD dvd: 1989. Pretty amateur production from Canada's National Film Board. Learned very little. Oh well, at least it had Christopher Plummer as the narrator -- nice voice.

This was a very instructive film- coming from someone who knows very little about China. You feel immersed in the historical events, and the narration is well done.
