Stuck. Nowhere to belong. Unable to decide on the person he is, Kasuga sinks into depression. He isolates himself from the world, and like one metaphorical scene depicts, is engulfed by darkness. That is until he makes a discovery, and reaches a decision which will decide the direction of his life. Nakamura's inner self finally reveals itself. Desperately lonely, unable to advance beyond her confines, and with no one to understand her, she grabbed onto the one person who showed promise. Kasuga, having finally found strength, decides to show her, the difficult to define, "other side" she so longs to reach out for. To please her, he fully enters her world and willingly commits the type of acts she previously forced him to do. At this point he abandons several of his morals, and the two of them together present a twisted and disturbing image. Shadows and shading are often used while in this mental state to further this uncomfortable atmosphere. Two flowers have become entwined and they are darker than ever.
