Princess Nakaba of Senan is forced to marry Prince Caesar of the enemy country Belquat, tantamount to becoming a hostage. While Caesar is pleasing to the eye, he is also selfish and possessive, telling Nakaba outright: "You are my property." With only her attendant Loki at her side, Nakaba must find a way to cope with her hostile surroundings, her fake marriage...and a mysterious power!

Princess Nakaba of Senan and Prince Caesar of Belquat only married each other for the sake of peace between their two warring countries, but the two grow to care deeply for each other over time. Just when it looks like Nakaba and Caesar can finally unite Senan and Belquat, however, Nakaba's beloved attendant Loki asks that she hand Senan over to him! Will Nakaba give in to Loki's demands? And what life-changing secret will Nakaba's Arcana of Time power reveal during the height of her distress?

For a series that moved quite slowly at time, I found the climax to this story confusing and rushed, and I finished it feeling quite disappointed. There were multiple loose ends that were glossed over, and I felt that a lot of the build up was lost in the writer's haste to finish. Great series, still worth a read, but I wouldn't have high hopes for a logical ending.
