This book was amazing! I enjoyed every moment of it. I was a little confused with the back and forth between characters, but made me feel as if I was there when all of the war action was happening. Desma, is my favorite very wild and out of control defiant to the max. All of these women still wanted to be civilians as well as themselves while serving our country!!!

While Thorpe's story is interesting, the narration by Donna Postel leaves much to be desired -- the narration is very flat, without affect.
