"The Walking Dead trilogy of original novels, set in the universe of Robert Kirkman's iconic comic, reaches its final crescendo in The Fall of the Governor. From coauthors Robert Kirkman, creator of the Eisner Award winning comic book and executive producer of AMC's blockbuster TV series, and Jay Bonansinga, Stoker award finalist and internationally acclaimed author, comes the gripping third novel in this richly woven, page-turning literary saga, which began with The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor. In Rise of the Governor, uber-villain Philip Blake journeyed from his humble beginnings directly into the dark heart of the zombie apocalypse, and became the self-proclaimed leader of a small town called Woodbury. In Book Two, The Road to Woodbury, an innocent traveler named Lilly Caul wound up in the terrifying thrall of Phillip Blake's twisted, violent dictatorship within Woodbury's ever tightening barricades. And now, in the final installment, it all comes to a head. All the threads and mysteries of the first two books will come together in a tour de force of action and horror. im really liking this series so far, its been every bit as thrilling as the show! the only thing that made me not like this particular book of the series is the mc of the series is taking a turn im not liking too much, here's hoping she turns it around later in the series.

Love the show & graphic novels - and mostly like the (prose?) novels - but I think it is appropriate to warn people that there are very graphic descriptions of sadistic sex and torture. Not totally surprising for Walking Dead (especially those familiar with the 'comics') but may be over the top for even those used to splattering brains and dismemberments. Otherwise a decent enhancement to the graphic novel storylines but not really in accord with the TV show.

I love the television drama series ‘The Walking Dead;’ need I say more? However, ‘Rise Of The Governor’ book one and ‘The Road to Woodbury’ book two were better than this, novel three, which I found overly complicated. Average reading at best. Doctor-at-Bass! T. A.
