What a wonderful story. Although the cover makes the book look targeted toward girls, I found it perfect for my boys with a main story thread being the male chicken going on an adventure where he has to defeat many strong foes. He leaves the chicken coup being the picked-on chicken and returns with the confidence to push back.

With all the focus on anti-bullying in schools today, I liked this story that sends a message of strength to a child. It has a strong attitude of the underdog coming back.
