Lost interest part way through, the storyline was just way too long!

The latest of the post-Clancy books, this follows two of the members of the Campus organization as they deal with a coup in a former Soviet republic. As usual, ever since the post-Bear and the Dragon era of Clancy, the story suffers from having protagonists that just aren't interesting- Jack Ryan Jr. and Dominic Caruso just aren't compelling characters. Add to that a few continuity glitches and plotholes, one wonders what the point to carrying on books in Clancy's name.

The book was interesting at first, but became somewhat tedious. I didn't think it added much to the advancement of the series.
