Canary Islands should definitely be a place to visit: off the coast of Morocco yet entirely Spanish. A little far to go for North Americans but certainly worth the reach especially if you combine it with a trip to mainland Europe. This Dorling Kindersley certainly does the islands credit with its slick paper; its seductive photographs and its organization. You need to read this book before you go; you need to find out what you must see especially if you have just so much time. The book's only fault: too short.
