Begins with the murder of Caroline's husband. She is alone with her 2 children. Unexpectedly, she meets Anthony whom she marries, moving into his home - a building that holds stories of terror. The plot continues, gathering the reader into events that would ordinarily be in a horror story involving the 'undead'. Although this is not my usual type of book, I was caught up in the unfolding events. It was a different but good book.
Really intense paranormal/horror/suspense set in a creepy NYC apartment.Loved the Central Park setting, and the wonderful character development.I really cared about the widow and her two children.
A very hard to put down read,so read when you have the free time!
Highly recommended for those who love 'clean' horror without the profanity/graphic sex/and splatter-gore.
One of the creepiest and disturbing books I've read...with a pretty ridiculous ending.
Typical Saul, good writing but with a recycled plot from a previous book, only in a different setting
