Took this book out as it was on shelves displaying Christmas themed books. Easy book to scan and to skip over paragraphs of "fiil". Hard to believe that cats can talk to humans and use phones. Half way through the plot seemed interesting enough for me to finish the book and I finally got used to cats acting like detectives. Recommend this story for young teens, especially girls who still like books with animals in them. Most likely, my first and last book in this cat series.

This book has more description of cruelty than the rest in the series. Skip those paragraphs, and the book is fun to read.

A little hard to follow the first few chapters but great fun to read after that.
