I read alot of royal diaries books, just don't get why those princesses would love someone so easily. And usually they don't have a very good life together.

This series always has an epilogue at the end which summarizes the remainder of the princess's life. This one bothered me. It reads

"A truly caring person, [Elizabeth] developed a sincere concern for the poor and mentally ill. She became a symbol of hope to thousands of her subjects. But it was Elizabeth's extraordinary beauty that was her most noteworthy characteristic."

I really didn't find this a healthy message to tack on to the end of a book for young girls.

I returned this with all other books.
