Do you know what the greatest threat to mankind is? Modern medicine. ... We create all these vaccines, antibiotics... cures for diseases that should never be cured. This planet was not designed to support 8 billion people.

Over 16 hours of binge watch but well worth the time for fast paced crime drama. Per IMDb, more than half a dozen directors in this lengthy first season and hence clear different look-and-feel between episodes, e.g. some with forced action scenes that featured Jane and wearing tank tops showing those tats while everyone else in the room were in coats and jackets. With that said, agree with BritCrime & Wong that this is an exceptional series similar to "The Blacklist," viz. hidden codes in tatoos on Jane Doe that pointed to a parade of major criminals etc. Like Blacklist, a few subplots took a leap of faith but soon forgiven and forgotten as events raced on to the twisty finale in the last two episodes.

Unique take on the usual FBI crime thriller. Jaimie Alexander is the intriguing Jane Doe, whose body tattoos reveal all sorts of plots and warnings which need to be resolved by her coworkers at the Bureau. Nice ensemble acting with capable colleagues, but Australian actor, Sullivan Stapleton seems a bit out of his depth as Jane's co-lead and love interest. He's fine for the action sequences, but fails in the quiet moments, imo. A shave once in a while wouldn't hurt either. Story meanders, but overall it will keep your attention with both action and mysteries to solve.
