Before this album I absolutely hated the Migos. I thought they were just three mumble rappers and were killing hip-hop. I was wrong. This album is terrific!! Ever song on this album is amazing! Now when you go into this you have to bring your expectations down a bit. This isn't going to be some Jay-Z or Nas album. This is hardcore trap rap. The very essence of what trap rap is. They evolved a style of rap and made it sound fun and something you can vibe to. The beats and flows are what makes this album. Offset, Quavo and Takeoff all work off each other providing there strengths and weakness off each other to make the best music they can. Great album and I hope they can keep up this charisma.
what is all the songs
Who is Migos? What is Migos? Are we all Migos? I'm a high school teacher in his 40s who rather quixotically tries to keep up with contemporary hip-hop, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I don't get a lot of it. Migos is a trio of rappers from Georgia (Sometimes called the "dirty South.") who popularized the dab and had a hit this year with "Bad Boujee," from their second album, "Culture." If you've heard that song, it's the best on the album, which pretty much sounds the same, but not as good, although strip club aficionados will enjoy "All Ass" and Kansans will enjoy "Get Rich Wichita." (Excuse me, I've just been informed it's "Get Right Witcha.") Guests include DJ "Why I am famous?" Khaled, Lil Uzi Vert, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Travis Scott (aka the most boring name in rap.) You might also like Lil Yachty, Playboy Carti, and whatever's on Spotify's club mix.
