This is an awful version of the Arthurian legend made in the 1950s when something as bad as this could pass as a film. I will admit that I turned it off after the laughable first battle (about 20 minutes in) where you actually witness the THWOP of cardboard swords on plastic shields and sword strikes that finish off enemies without coming within 2 feet of the intended target. The main characters don't even attempt British accents (again, 1950s). I guess that this tried to do for King Arthur what the Errol Flynn version of Robin Hood did for that legendary character, what with the impossibly vivid and bright colors, etc. But Robin Hood pulls it off in a way that this movie does not. This seems like it was made for children under 10 years old.

Don't waste your time with this piece of crap. Instead, get the 1980 John Boorman movie Excalibur which is the quintessential take on King Arthur and his knights.
