It's post-modern science poetry.
If you love poetry and science, pick this one up for your kids. Enjoy reading it to them as you hear the rhythms and patterns of famous poems co-opted for fun and science.

A follow up to Math Curse, but this time Jon Scieszka turns his razor sharp wit to science. Remaking a variety of well known poems, Sciezska covers subjects ranging from the Big Bang to intestinal parasites, and everything in between. Illustrated once again by Lane Smith, this book will delight both the Science and the English teacher. If you can get the one with the CD of Sciezska reading, you have a bonus.
