Good introduction to animal and colour names seems to be inspired by the classic "Brown Bear Brown Bear", but doesn't have quite the same charm.

Simple story about a boy and farm animals. Rhymes. Colorful and beautiful illustrations.

A toddler goes walking and ends up playing with a gaggle of farmyard animals he has met along the way.

Absolutely fabulous to read to early speakers either as a group (in circle) or individually. It is lyrical, has lots of syntatic repetition, and employs familiar animals and patterns to intoduce numbers and colours.
