Nina deVilliers was murdered by Jonathan Yeo 25 years ago.
But he had help.
For a decade, he committed acts of violence against several women-
His wife and mother-in law covered up for him, made excuses and made him their focus.
Two police services, a crown attorney, a counsellor and Canadian border workers failed to do their jobs.
Nina was a smart ,talented young woman, out for a run, when this 'tickingtime bomb' spotted her and abducted her. He then killed a second woman, Karen Marquis.
An inquest revealed this tragi-comedy of errors.
Yeo, who had fathered several children, killed himself when surrounded by police.
Nina's mom Priscilla, has become the face for change in the justice system.
Everyone should read this well written book..there are always red flags.

A well written non-fiction book about a, perhaps unknown, murder in Burlington.
