Inuit: Glimpses of an Arctic Past. --- by David Morrison and Georges-Hebert Germain. --- This arctic doesen’t exist any more. Most who live there don’t regret it. But in its passing, something unique of the romance of a people, a place and a time have been lost. Perhaps forever. Lots of text, lots of illustrations including illustrative drawings. Great for middle school research. Great for the rest of us who want to step back in time and place to an Artic before pampers and the snowmobile.
