Not only are these female warriors strong fighters, but they are strong in spirit too. Their determination is often the only thing that keeps them going, until later in the storyline, where they develop bonds with one another. The series is still ongoing, and having learned the truth they seek to end it all. There is more to Claymore than action, for at its core it is about what it means to be human, and who the true monsters are.
