Interesting book. I found it a bit repetitive after WW1 though - I felt they went for the really obvious shots (the new flag, for instance) when something else might have revealed more about us. Good quick read.

An excellent work of edition that brings together photos and specialists in the historical time where pictures were taken. It is like hearing the story of Canada through images, in the same way we tell the stories of our lives through a photo album. It is not only the outside part of the historical events but also the intimate part realated to the feelings and perceptions of the people who lived these events that were and still are important to this country. I really enjoyed it!
