I wouldn't recommend watching this film but it's not so awful that you have to turn it off. Uma Thurman does do a great job and I love that it's about living in a New York Apartment.

Uma Thurman does a good job in this film. A mother run ragged, trying to balance her life, all to a pretty good soundtrack by Syd Straw and others.

I was revolted by this film's portrayal of adult female friendships as being obsessed with gynaecology. It would also have been improved if the main characters had made more reference to their higher aspirations. But regardless, I found it a mildly constructive essay on the frustrating dichotomy between our joie de vivre & our actual day-to-day lives.

Skip It - Motherhood (2009) 90 min. Uma Thurman stars in this forgettable quasi-comedy about a woman trying to be the best that she could be both as a mother and a wife. The film is not funny and exaggerated by encapsulating every hardship a mother could face all in the span of 90 minutes without presenting any of the good times as well. The act of Motherhood in itself is more dignified and should be presented with the honor honor it deserves.
