A sweet look at the different types of quiet that can happen throughout a child's day. Ranging from emotions to states of being, such as, shyness, astonishment, wonder, and inner reflection. This would make an excellent read for bedtime!

In this simple yet engaging picture book, a winsome group of young animals demonstrate the many different types of quiet. Whether it's anxious ("sleeping sister quiet"), excited ("right before you yell 'SURPRISE!' quiet"), guilty ("thinking of a good reason you were drawing on the walls quiet") or deeply contented ("best friends don't need to talk quiet"), children will be pleased to see their own quiet experiences reflected in the softly muted illustrations. Simultaneously soothing and silly, The Quiet Book is a delightful choice for bedtime, or other quiet time.

What a sweet book for reading to a child at bedtime or bed time story time. You can come up with new types of "quiet" together, too. This has cute, retro illustrations and a wonderful concept. Love it!

How many different kinds of quiet can you think of? From "making a wish quiet" to "sleeping sister quiet" to "first look at your new haircut quiet" (my favorite), this book covers it all. A sweet and fun title that will please adults and kiddos alike!
