a Pretty Little Liars Prequel Novel
May 03, 2017
(Partial Spoiler?) This is the book that explains it all. From the very first snapshot of the DiLaurentis and the twin sisters, Ali and Courtney. Two little girls, raised together, were the matched pair of century. Until they started getting into arguments, and disputes, and trouble. Ali, always jealous of Courtney, angered her sister to the extent where she then set her sister up to force her parents to send her to a mental institution. And it all spirals to when Courtney comes back to transfer to another institute, and four girls happen to hide in the backyard of the DiLaurentis'. Yes, these girls were the liars: Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily. Read on! - @Siri of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library Ali's Pretty Little Lies is the prequel to the Pretty Little Liars books; but reading it after the first four books or so will help you have a better understanding of the characters and setting. This book was over dramatic, and mostly very unrealistic, but that's what made it so good. We look into the DiLaurentis' life and family troubles, as well as a younger Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily and their thoughts on Ali. I won't reveal any spoilers, but if you've read this far through the reviews, you probably already know what happens and what big plot twist the author has cooked up. Overall, this book was very enjoyable to read, and should you be uninterested by any of the other Pretty Little Liars books, read this one. It's good. - @loona of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
