Disappointing. First two books were excellent in this trilogy. This last book, while well researched, moved ponderously and worst of all lacked any character development of arch villain, Benjamin. There is no examination of the motivations for his hatred and thirst for revenge. Blaming it all on "blood rage" was lazy and leaves the reader wondering if Harkness has grown bored with her subject.
