Another enjoyable novel by Nick Hornby. In my opinion, better than "High Fidelity" but not quite as good as "About A Boy". Annie has been living with her boyfriend, Duncan, for about 15 years in a small English seaside village. Duncan is obsessed with American singer/songwriter Tucker Crowe who has been a recluse for many years. A new album of Tucker's, "Juliet, Naked", is released and Annie writes an unfavorable review of it much to Duncan's dismay. Through a series of events Tucker ends up in England which affects all of their lives. The quote on the back of the book from a review by The Washington Post best describes this novel: "Charming....nobody captures the zealous devotion and bizarre intensity of amateur music snobs better."
