Whichever side of Grisham's character you like best, you can find it here, from barely legal madcap escapades to righteous indignation at social injustice. Each of the well-rounded morsels in this collection does contain some of his biting and cynical wit, and the genre suits him very well. (References to the work of fellow southern storyist William Faulkner in the final story are completely in order.)
